Another new name for the winner's trophy!

Congratulations go out to Andrew Smith and Sam Wainwright who, after a fantastic drive, became the third winners of the North East 25 Classic Rally. Andrew and Sam barely put a wheel wrong throughout the course of the event, with their speed and consistency over the three legs sealing the win from the Escort of 2006 winners John Ruddock and John Heppell, and defending champions Archie and Richard Simmonds in the MG Midget.

Further congratulations to Adrian Stewart and Ross Hynd who won the amalgamated H1/H2 class, to John Bertram and Andrew Fish who took the H5 award, and to Chris Collie and Roy Kemp for winning the Modern class.
