The organisers have managned to take some time out from plotting maps, PR-ing routes and securing test venues to draw up a set of regulations and an entry form for all you competitors. Please get your entries in soon, as this year's event is restricted to 30 entries, with historic vehicles receiving preference. Rally HQ moves to Montrose for 2008

The NE25C has moved away from it's traditional base location of Edzell for this year's event. Only a short trip down the east coast from our former venue, Montrose plays host to the event for the first time. Rally Headquarters will be based out of the Park Hotel, providing a relatively central yet quiet home location for the weekend's sport. Details can be found on the accommodation page.

SDMC and 750MC have agreed a deal with the hotel to give a discounted "Rally Rate" price on accommodation for competitors. The agreed price is £30 per head sharing twin or double rooms, or a single it is £40 per head, all on a B&B basis. The discounted rate applies regardless if you are staying one night or two. Plese just mention "North East Classic Rally, Stonehaven & District Motor Club" to take advantage of the offer.

The North East 25 Classic - Scotland's premier classic rally. Testing the endurance of both crews and car, the event spans the 25 hours between 12 noon on 25-26th October 2008.

Tests during Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning vary from sealed tarmac through loose gravel to the mud and back with regularity tests between. Saturday night also incorporates the Hairst navigational rally - a true north east classic!
